WINTER PARK, Fla. — Democrats today dumped another $1.1 million dollars against John Mica that will bring their total television campaign to an astounding and record breaking $5.7 million dollars. Never in the history of Central Florida politics has this amount of outside money been expended to trick voters on such a massive scale.
As of Halloween, a whopping $4.6 million in negative TV ads to scare voters into not supporting Mica has been spent by Nancy Pelosi and Washington Democrats.
Back in August at the beginning of the campaign, Washington Democrats pledged to spend up to $3 million to defeat Mica. Now, frightened by recent polls that Mica is still alive and in the lead, a petrified Pelosi and her power brokers are doubling up spending in a last ditch effort to drive a final stake in the heart of Mica’s Campaign.
It’s flat out scary how Washington Democrats are trying to buy Congressional District 7 to regain power in the U.S. House of Representatives.
And, in our community, Stephanie Murphy continues to be only a ghost to Central Florida voters and donors. Just four individual contributions – less than 10 percent – are listed in her past four reports with ties to Central Florida. More than 25 percent of her individual contributors are sitting members of Congress.
“Murphy’s scary campaign is trying to trick our community,” Campaign Spokesman Alan Byrd says. “What’s really being served up this Halloween is one huge I.O.U. for Nancy Pelosi and Washington Democrats that will be paid back at the expense of Central Florida. It’s time Murphy took the mask off her campaign and revealed her true identity – a puppet for Washington D.C. Power interests.”
